Ex-president’s nationalist grouping leads Bulgaria vote
The formation of ex-president Rumen Radev has come first in Bulgaria’s eighth parliamentary elections in five years, securing around 38% of the vote, according to exit polls on Sunday.
Nationalist Progressive Bulgaria came in ahead of the conservative GERB party of former premier Boyko Borissov, which slumped to around 16%, and the liberal PP-DB coalition at around 14%, according to two exit polls.
